ABOUT CIVITAS
[ siv-i-tähs ]
Hello, is this … Suhveetis? Actually, it’s Siv-i-tahs! The first part sounds like civic but ending with a “t”, the second sounds like toss. In ancient Rome, Civitas was the law that bound the citizens together and created a public entity. We can’t imagine a better name to express what we do – create partnerships, progress, and prosperity.
Our innovative funding mechanisms have generated nearly $2 billion for clients globally. Our expert team delivers unequaled knowledge, depth and experience globally to destinations and communities that seek sustainable funding solutions to fuel their futures.

Visit Vacaville had the pleasure of working with Civitas on our recent TBID conversion. Often, conversions can be a challenging endeavor, but Civitas helped make the experience painless. They went above and beyond to make sure the transition was seamless. We look forward to working with them on future renewals.

For over 20 years Benicia businesses located in our downtown attempted to form a business improvement district, failing at that endeavor on three separate occasions. In was not until 2012 with the guidance of Civitas that Benicia was able to finally create a BID creating a district improved by the installation of decorative tree lights. Civitas literally illuminated our downtown.
