In many states, legislative support is needed to reach the funding goals of organizations and stakeholders.
Our legislative support projects include a policy analysis of existing legislation, discussion with stakeholders on critical policy discussions, drafting of revision language, review of proposed amendments, response to legislative objections, and professional support through all educational, public relations, and legislative committee/hearing testimonies.
When public resources are scarce, proposing a funding model plan that does not require public funds, private investment from an assessment can pave the way for an expedited recovery, additional business demand, and increased jobs.
Participate in meetings, calls, educational sessions with leaders, stakeholders, and legislators to build consensus for the Tourism Improvement District legislation.
Legal Analysis / Drafting / Legislative Amendments
Civitas will serve as a Policy Analyst and review all proposed language edits/amendments, draft language, and necessary amendments.
Collateral and Handouts
Civitas will prepare slide decks and handouts and prepare collateral for promotional and educational purposes.
In-person Events, Legislative Hearings, Media Inquiries
Civitas will serve as an expert representative at industry events legislative hearings and respond to any necessary inquiries.
